School tour

On Monday, we had the opportunity to see all the buildings of the ÖZEL ÇAKABEY LİSESİ school from inside. The Turkish teachers of English gave us a brilliant and thorouhg guidance through this lovely school. We all admidred the equippment of the classrooms. Lovely, lovely school!

Presentations about our traditions

On Monday, we spend the whole day at school. However, it was not a usual school day. There was a rich programme. Firstly, we met in a conference hall where students presented about traditions in their countries. Below you can view Turkish, Italian, Polish and Czech presentations. In the afternoon, we started to learn songs in Czech, Polish, Italian and Turkish languages presented in internationally mixed groups. We have also started editing the first part of our films shot in Bergama.

12/10/2014 - Shooting in Pergamon

Now when the students already prepared their stories, we travelled to Bergama and Asklepion, the backgrounds to our filming. Students used the backgrounds and history of the places in their legends and stories from different part of the words. We had, for example, the story of Golem of Pergamon. The students had lots of fun shooting their films on this Sunday. They learned a lot thanks to our guide.

Saturday 11/10/2014

On Saturday we met at school, where first of all we met the principal. Then, our students were divided in international groups and started their first project activities in Turkey - working for their legend stories. All students prepared their stories and had lots of fun filming.

Turkey 10/10 - 17/10/2014

On Friday 10/10/2014 we have finally met again. This time it was in Turkey. The flights went ok and we were all happy that the weather was so warm. It was a big difference, at least for the Czech and Polish groups. We had a warm welcome by our wonderful Turkish hosts.Thank you!
